‘We The Leaders’ is a Leadership Development Programme for leadership in the social sector that is
based on a few critical insights from research on leaders working in the anti-slavery sector. Research
recommendations suggested strengthening peerage to break isolation and loneliness and allowing
for collective struggles to be addressed in safe group spaces, managers and second-line leaders in
organisations to discover their own potential and earn their succession and leadership development
focus more on psychological growth than on competence building through technical trainings on
management or leadership.
The programme will be anchored by Change Mantras in collaboration with Reflexive Lenses, and
focus on social sector organisations working in the grassroots and include two generations of leaders
- the 1st generation of founder leaders and the second generation of successors in waiting.
