Nearly two years ago, more than 110 leaders from the social sector joined research that aimed to study Leadership Patterns and Propensities in the social development sector, amongst organisations working against human oppression and exploitation of marginalised communities and identities.
Change Mantras, in collaboration with Reflexive Lenses conducted various researches that tried to explore if there are any psychological identity patterns in the leadership community in the social sector and what energises them, what drives their passion, what are some of the assumptions they work with for themselves and others, what similarities and distinctiveness they experience in themselves and what could be some of the drivers of their choices.
The research has offered some insights, speculations and hypotheses on the questions above. Change Mantras and Reflexive Lenses is keen to share some of these findings with you and learn your responses to them, what resonates with your experience and what may not seem to fit with your experience. We are keen to learn from you, based on this dialogue, what you would find meaningful in terms of support for yourself and other social sector leaders.
